Svært Høy

Many people ask me why I wear a medieval monk’s or friar’s outfit, or why I hide my face, among other things.

Well, from my point of view, I’m just an instrument of the higher will to bring the good news to the world.

It’s not about renouncing my image or even possible “moments of fame”. It’s about the purpose, the why of it all.

In this specific case, everything I write, everything I play, the music that comes out of my hands here on earth, in a way, is my intellectual property, I mean, for all legal purposes. But from my point of view, all this already exists in another dimension and I’ve been looking for what doesn’t really belong to me in order to show everyone what I’ve borrowed.

So the image doesn’t matter, the name doesn’t matter, none of that is necessary.

Yes, I earn my living through my work, of course, because anyone who works needs to be paid. Taking advantage of the moment, I say: “The man who works only for what he receives does not deserve to be paid for what he does”. Is that my phrase? No, it’s by Abraham Lincoln, and it’s a fair thought from a professional point of view, which says that he who does it with love, with perseverance, with dedication, will certainly get paid for his work. But those who do it out of obligation, with no desire, may not get the expected result. However, this is relative, as transcendent merits can go against this maxim.

Therefore, I choose not to show my face, not to divulge my first name, but rather the content of my work. A work that is part of a whole, and which receives many contributions from various personalities, present at this moment or not.
